Settling In Sessions
Our nursery offers settling in sessions. Parents can bring their child for a couple of hours first, gradually introducing the child to a new environment. Settling in sessions are aimed at helping your child to adapt to their new surroundings and become more familiar with the staff and other children.
Our 3-5 year old children are given the opportunity to explore another language through weekly Spanish lessons which are included in our nursery fees. Our Spanish Teacher educates our children through engaging activities and songs.
We offer Gymnastic Classes at our local community sport centre every Tuesday and Thursday for a small additional charge. We also offer a physical programme for 2 year olds which incorporates the development of physical and cognitive skills
We offer children the opportunity to participate in fun and exciting drama and imaginative play classes through Pyjama Drama.
Before/After School Care
As well as our Nursery we also offer Before and After School Care for children from 5 - 11 years of age. For more information Before/After School Care

High Ball Low Ball Classes
Ball games are such an easy and entertaining outdoor games for kids to get them moving and playing together with other children. High Ball Low Ball game develops a skill of learning to bounce a ball at just the right speed and height. These skills are also needed for additional bouncing ball games like tennis, ping pong and even volleyball and football.
Jo Jingles Classes encourage learning and development through fun and structured classes, adding another dimension to learning and development provision.
Our Interactive Digitable offers exciting and stimulating learning experiences tailored to challenge and engage little ones.
E-Learning Journals allow you to see your child’s activities at nursery with the click of a button. Staff upload images and notes about your child's participation in activities at nursery for to access wherever you are. Our nursery tablets offer exciting and stimulating learning experiences tailored to challenge and engage little ones.
Eco Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is designed to encourage action on sustainable development education issues. Our children love getting involved in their Eco Schools projects and learning about how to help protect the environment.
Our nursery enjoys great ties with our local community and we are often out and about visiting local sights and getting involved in events. We enjoy visits to the local parks, have good community links with the local nursing home )visitng every 2nd Thrusday to spend time the residents), supermarkets, soft play and pet shop
In recognition that education begins in the home, we are fully committed to a partnership approach with parents. Parents are kept up to date with monthly newsletters, online parent forum and parent’s evenings twice a year. Parents are also able to keep up to date with activities going on in the nursery by following our social media accounts; Bishopbriggs Facebook, Happitots Twitter and Happitots Instagram.
Taking part in fundraising activities helps children to learn about others that are less fortunate than themselves and understand how we can help them. Fundraising events are good fun and are a great way to get children, families and communities together. Some of the fundraisers we have taken part in are sponsored toddles, superhero days, bake sales and garden parties.
Our nursery encourages children to celebrate festivals throughout the year. This is one of the best ways for children to learn about different religions and cultures by celebrating various world religious festivals, food tasting from different countries, and dressing up in the national dress of their friends..
We celebrate Christmas by putting on a wonderful Christmas show for friends and family each year. There's always much excitement in preparing for the show as we learn songs and organise our special dress ups.
We celebrate the big move to primary school with a special graduation ceremony each year—caps, gowns, the works!
